Spending and Student Achievement

We naturally assume that the more money the state spends, the higher the student's scores will be. However, if this is certainly not always the case then our assumptions may be flawed. Extensive analysis will indicate whether this assumption is valid. We will divulge more detail with our findings through data analysis later on in this report. Referring to the next two graphs, the composite score graph indicates a range of between 580 to about 680. We can see that the incline is pretty smooth indicating few outliers. The student spending; however, provides a larger range of $3,000 to more than $8,000. We can see that the amount of how much money is spent does not indicate or predict composite scores (2 charts)
